This Privacy Policy explains how Vietnam Airlines (VNA) ("we", "us", "our")
collects, uses, and protects information gathered through the AHF Survey
mobile application (com.vna.ahfmobile), available on Google Play and the Apple
App Store. By using the app you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Account credentials – employee ID and password used to authenticate within VNA's internal system.
- Survey responses – answers to human-factor and fatigue-management questionnaires you submit.
- Device locale & timezone – used solely to display correct dates and language.
- App usage logs – crash reports and anonymous diagnostic data to maintain stability.
We do not collect location data, contacts, camera, microphone, or any biometric information.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate you against VNA's internal directory.
- Store and process your survey submissions for internal safety reporting.
- Diagnose app crashes and improve performance.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data may be shared only with:
- VNA's internal safety & operations departments (survey results only).
- Third-party crash-reporting tools (e.g., Expo/EAS) under strict data-processing agreements that prohibit re-use.
5. Data Storage & Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Authentication tokens are stored in
the device's secure enclave via expo-secure-store. Survey data is retained on
VNA's servers for the period required by aviation safety regulations, after which it is deleted
or anonymised.
6. Your Rights
- Access & correction – request a copy of your personal data or correct inaccuracies.
- Deletion – request deletion of your account data; submit the request to the contact below.
- Opt-out – you may stop using the app at any time; this will not affect any existing submissions.
7. Children's Privacy
The app is intended exclusively for VNA employees aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via an in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
